Digital Summer Clinic Internship Week 5

This week felt like a good mix of strategy and inspiration. With Cargility, we’re continuing to develop the website and are now shifting our focus toward social media content strategy. We’ve started thinking more deeply about how the brand shows up across platforms and how we can build trust, consistency, and personality in a way that feels intentional and approachable.

At the Digital Clinic, we had a great session with our panelists: Jorel McCree from Pinterest, Sierra Lambert from Gig-L, and Andrew Yang from Parhelion. The focus of our conversation was Cultural Intelligence—how brands can meaningfully connect with their audiences by truly understanding them. Each speaker brought their own perspective on tapping into culture through storytelling, design, and strategy. It was a reminder that great marketing doesn’t just speak at people—it listens first.

Hearing how these professionals navigate authenticity, representation, and relevance in their work made me think about how our own project can carry those values forward. Culture isn’t just a trend to reflect—it’s a relationship to build.

The deeper we get into this internship, the more I realize that strategy and creativity go hand in hand. I’m looking forward to applying what I’ve learned this week as we continue building out both the site and the brand’s content presence.
