Digital Summer Clinic Internship Week 7
As we move into the final stretch of the Digital Summer Clinic, this week at the clinic, we had a great discussion titled Intern to Impact—a panel focused on turning the lessons from this internship into long-term momentum. Hosted by our mentors Kim and Alankrita, the conversation featured insights from Chris Dotson, Nisah Tahara, and Taylor Nash. They touched on everything from how to translate your work into strong resume points, to building lasting relationships, learning from mistakes, and finding value in even the smallest wins. It gave me a lot to reflect on as we wrap up this experience.
On the project side, I’ve been focused on prepping our brand for launch and beyond. This week’s goal was to create content for future posts and design reusable templates for social media, website updates, and even print materials. By putting these systems in place now, we’re helping the team maintain consistency and efficiency long after the clinic ends.
I’m also still on track to have the website 80% ready for the end of the internship as requested, and I’ve been organizing all our Canva files so that everything is easy to update going forward. This behind-the-scenes work may not be flashy, but it’s what helps turn creative ideas into a sustainable strategy.
I was also interviewed for the Clinic’s Intern Sessions series—check it out here: Interview Link . And don’t miss the Twin Day fun at the clinic! Here’s the video: Twin Day Link
